Obstetrics

My professional focus is on providing excellent, personalised antenatal, intrapartum ,and postnatal care to all my patients, with a high level of individual care and attention.

I specialise in medical disorders in pregnancy (Diabetes, Thyroid, Epilepsy, IBD)

Lead for preterm prevention antenatal clinic and provide treatment for short cervix (Progesterone pessary, Arabin pessary, cervical cerclage) 
 
Pioneered the formation of the external cephalic version (ECV) services and provide training and supervision to trainees. With responsibility for Labour ward lead I was appointed a panel member for Perinatal mortality review tool (PMRT) and Root cause analysis for adverse outcomes.  

Gynaecology 

30 of years of Gynaecological experience managing outpatient clinics with hands on practice focusing sensitive procedures such as pessary insertion for prolapse, Pipelle biopsy for endometrium, cervical polyp removal, cervical smears. 

Conducting procedures and supervising Gynaecology theatres, minor and major operations. Diagnostic and operative laparoscopy procedures. Minor hysteroscopic procedures. 

Lead for Paediatrics and Adolescent Gynaecology, managing outpatient clinics, undertaking surgical procedures - haematocolpos, labial cyst removal, laparoscopy for ovarian cystectomy, pelvic pain. 

Panel member for governance processes- complaint response and root cause analysis.
